intrusion module connector, unknown wire attached?

I'm installing my 3rd Blackvue and once again reminded of this mysterious red wire taped off the intrusion module connector. It runs up and along the passenger headliner but that is about as far as I'm willing to follow it. I've been fortunate to be able to use the existing rear camera wire installed by previous owner so no need to pull apart. It is not the power for the original camera and there are no other peripheral accessories that I'm aware of. It doesn't seem to affect anything so I just leave it alone. But curious if anyone has an idea what it's for?

It’s been usually used for continuous 12V load so this might power some module that was installed by previous owner. So worth to search the other end…

It's definitely connected for continuous 12V but I've had the car for two years now and there just isn't any aftermarket accessories installed. Although, Tesla may have removed prior to listing it.
