iPhone app "Sentry Mode"

FYI - I am sure everyone probably knows this but I was checking my iPhone app to see if I had "Sentry Live", which I do not, and selected "Security > Turn on Sentry Mode" in app. I did not have live view, but in 2 days not driving 2020 MSP the miles went from 315 to 279. Hell of a "Vampire Drain". Deselected and back to ~1 mile per day. Just passing that along...

Consumption of sentry mode is the same as before this remote viewing feature. To run Sentry, the car needs to stay awake. It will consume roughly 200w of power to run the computer, cameras, cooling pumps etc. That means in 5h it will have consumed 1kWh. Compare that to say 15w when the car sleeps to just run the LTE antenna and bluetooth LE readers. It's at least a factor 10 difference.
Those values are for model 3/Y and are only used to illustrate the point. Your values might be different in an S but hopefully you get the idea.
