I just got delivery of a Model 3. The phone charging cable wasnt supplied. Probably a stupid question but is it the same as a normal cable phone charging or do I need to go to the service centre and get one ?

They are short and the connection is at 90 degree. I never used mine... just ran a long cable from one of the back USB port to the phone holder locked to my cupholder. I got both lightning and usb-c with my Model 3. But I think they stopped giving those out for free... doesn't hurt to ask. You could buy one here: Model 3 Phone Charging Cable
NP. You could also get the wireless charging pad (3rd party) for about $50, or the new official Tesla wireless charging pad for $125. Honestly if I was going to leave my phone at the official phone dock area, I would prefer wireless charging.
Yes that does look good as well. I will check the new Tesla one out and decide. I have just ordered the cable but it may well be a case of going for the wireless now.
