Is this a normal floor?

My Model Y has this problem too. I took it in for another service issue a year and a half ago. I pointed this problem out to them as part of a list of minor issues. They said this was "within spec". I interpret this to mean they didn't want to fix it. Maybe a fix is way too expensive.

I encourage you to book a service appointment to get this fixed. It's not a safety or performance issue but it sure makes the car seem cheap.

IIRC, Bearded Tesla Guy also has a Model Y with this issue.

Agree completely, it makes it seem cheap, and it annoys me which is enough!
