The arrival of v9 software brought us, MCU1 owners, a newly reskinned, but non-functional browser. Well, I'm happy to report that many months later, with 2019.16.2 my MCU1 browser started working again. So all of you who have given up and buried the browser under the giant grey nav screen, go ahead, give it a try if you're on 16.2 or later. The rest of the v9 still sucks, but at least the browser is back - it even works with traffic overlay turned on in the nav screen! :D

Yes my browser worked for free days on 16.2 but just yesterday I had to reboot while driving as Tesla waze wasn't updating. I still don't think it is fixed. Ymmv?
When that happens, see if you can load other pages. If you can, then it's teslawaze which may be slow or not responding. Of course, it could also mean there is some resource leak which requires reboot every few days, still better than before where it was not working at all.
