You scheduled it through Tesla which may be why your electrician went the extra mile. I guess I should have done this but did not. This makes sense.

I think what he is saying is that he found an electrician that was listed on the Tesla website as a verified (or certified) Tesla installer. Then he googled that company and called them. That is also what I did.
