Agent text me and asked if I wanted to be towed to the dealer or a tire shop, I said I will go whoever has the the tire in stock. He said he couldn’t tell if my Tesla store had one in stock, he said call them and ask, closed out my service request. I called the Tesla store, and they have a message that says they don’t take service calls, use the app. So the app gets me an agent, agent tells me to call store, store tells me to use app. Maddening. I finally got ahold of somebody at corporate the “sales” option calling the store got me to, and they were no help and said somebody would call from the store tomorrow, up to 24 hours.
How the hell can a company so good at technology not be able to simply view their inventory of parts?
They do not offer loaner tires where you are? I know that is a circumstance of whether they have them, but I have had multiple flat tires (unfortunately) and each time I had them put on a loaner wheel.
nobody has mentioned a loaner tire, the dealer just called, new tire is $480, my local tire shop is $360, Tesla said they can't match, doh! love these cares, but the service area needs some improvements.
