I am exited that I found excellent tie downs that are perfect for the back of the model Y. They have the same thread as the bolts that attach to the bottom of the vehicle so they are very secure at the back. Purchased on Amazon "Lixada 2 Pack Kayak Track Mount Tie Down" stainless steel, has part number Y14120 on the package. Photos attached. It was easy to remove the bolts and put these ones in. At the front of the vehicle I the bolts were too far back so I attached two more tie downs a the top of the front vents in the plastic which is not as solid as into metal, but should be ok for our light kayaks.

Kayak & Canoe Tie Down Points

Photos attached with two kayaks on the model Y and Malone carriers. The kayaks are Deltas, one 15.5 feet long, the other 17 feet. The ropes cleared the paint on the back and the ropes rub against the nose on the front. Width wise they both fit with no overhang over the side of the car. I hope this helps someone, I had difficulty finding anything on the internet with two kayaks on the Y. They seem very secure.

How did you attach the front ones? I have the same tie down bolts, but I don't see and bolts to remove from the front vents. Did you just drill into the plastic? Thanks

I also use the same Hood Loop Anchor Straps that I bolted to the hings of the hood and the trunk:
