Las Vegas
So we picked up my Wife's 2020 Model Y MSM/AWD/Black interior/no FSD (ordered Sept 2019 delivered 4 June 2020) at the Las Vegas, NV Service Center on Sahara today. Pickup process was a bit better than mine last year in Colorado at the Littleton Service Center, purchased at the Mall. The car only has a couple issues trim-wise and fitment... Don't know how they missed the driver rear door trim like c'mon. Paint seems in good condition! A few dirty hand marks inside but should come off easy enough. Charging door isn't aligned properly, it's sticking out weirdly. Rubbing on the hood to the plastic piece driver side area near the cowl. Rear hatch is touching the brake lights in the back but not yet making a mess.

Car was parked outside in the literal 100*F heat which may or may not have been on purpose to get us moving. Delivery lady was nice enough but brand new, everyone else on the front sales side looked like they could give zero F's when I came back in asking about reporting the problems. I made a comment about the heat and got no response. Delivery bay had some cars in it but not full.

Overall not a nightmare scenario like I've been reading on the forums but still not $50K car delivery level service, pretty sure my Mom's 2009 Honda Accord was a better delivery service. I guess it's that early adopter kick to the pants.

All this to say yes we're happy with it but still some stuff for Tesla to work on as with every company no matter who it is.

what is the status now of your car? How responsive was Tesla's service? We are all waiting to find out the issues we may have t confront with our MY delivery

The Sales manager reached out after someone told him about my FB post to the local group. They got me into the Tesla body shop we have here in Vegas right away. They fixed everything except the charger door which I’m told that all the Y’s are coming out this way...

I scheduled a mobile service repair for the door and actually just got an email saying the part was ordered and they’ll update me when it’s in and ready to be replaced. We shall see if replacing it fixes the alignment. A lot of people (even Ben Sullins on YouTube) have the charger door issue.

Attached is the part number for the door they ordered.
