Lazair electric amphibious ultralight

He wants to do a cross-America journey but bemoans the lack of a national fast charge infrastructure. It's clear he could learn something from the experience of Tesla drivers: 40A recharge at 240V available at thousands of locations called RV parks. Surely some of them coincide with lakes (for an amphibious journey) or fields (I assume an ultralight doesn't need a formal airport)?

With the last few years of advances he talks about and recent years sporting hundreds of new electric bike and car speed records, this is another showing that the electric powertrains of today have nothing to do with the last hundred years of batteries and motor technology.
