Leather damage

The headrest is swelling after driving for a year.
I've tried different kinds of cleaners doesn't seem to work. Is there anyway to save it?

Its a vinyl not leather. Did you try Clorox wipes? They work great for me.

I never use product. Maybe I forgot to wipe off the sweat after gym once or twice? But it should be as bad as this.

Lotions? Just asking because when I worked for benz we would see swollen vinyl with lotions and hair products

Obviously I’m some random dude on the Internet but the only time I’ve seen that is due to lotions/hair products/ect causing a material failure. And I’ve seen that a LOT.

There’s almost no way that part will fail in that one spot without some outside influence. Even if you get a new one, with the same circumstances, the same thing will happen again.
