There are loads of potholes around my vicinity and I keep track of where they are and avoid them as much as possible.
The other day we had massive rainstorms and some flooding: the next time I drove there were new and improved potholes everywhere and although I missed most, I hit one or two.
Afterwards I was getting an indication of low tyre pressure on rear offside - 37psi v the rest at 41psi. I don't know if this was sudden or coincidental. No indications of something in the tyre.
Question: is hitting a pothole able to "squeeze" some air from the tyre without damaging it or the alloys and without allowing more continuous air loss?
