Ordered 11/30 and just got a VIN in source code! There's still no link to MVPA or anything, but this feels like a great step in the right direction.

Read your message and decided I should try my luck. Viola! I have a VIN assigned too! Last I checked was a couple of hours ago, so good thing I checked again. Just had the nema 14-50 socket installed today, so getting the VIN is very good news. I see the electric car at the end of the tunnel!

Finally got my car yesterday!

Ordered 10/4
VIN in Source 12/5
Pick Up on 12/10

I feel like a Kung Fu master with the amount of patience I can now handle!
Totalimmortal, Congrats I’m taking delivery! My I ask, how was your delivery experience? Any issues with panels or paint? I’m dying over here with my 12/15 delivery date. Soooooo close!

Just got our lease approval so we are getting closer. We went the buyer event at the Fremont Delivery Center on Saturday and they updated our information by adding insurance. I am not sure if this helped, but the lease was stuck in pending for a 2 weeks and now it is approved.

So hopefully we get the 3 to add to our X by the end of the year.

The only problem with my delivery experience was the paperwork wasn't ready so I had to wait an extra 20 mins. Other than that, the car is damn near perfect for what I ordered. It was super easy too. I saw no issue and now going into day 3, I couldn't be more happy!

Hopefully you and everyone else here will join me sooner rather than later!

Ordered 12/4 and just got a VIN in source code today.

When I spoke with my SA last week he said to wait until I got VIN on the page and the text saying it was time to setup delivery and then to contact him and he would take care of MVPA, communication with Alliant for finishing the financing, etc.

For those that have done this before, would you wait for this, or would you go ahead and use the VIN to upload proof of insurance and pay the down payment? Do we think this moves things forward faster?

Where are you ordering at?
I ordered at Century City in L.A., and picked up at Marina Del Rey the next day, Sunday. Paperwork wasn't ready quite because of the quick turnaround once we switched to a stealth, and somehow the amount of the down-payment jumped by a couple hundred dollars by the time I sat down with someone to fill everything out. (It was one number on the online account page before I left, then a higher number when I arrived at the delivery center. No one could explain why.) That was a bit of a nasty shock.

But I have the car now. It's all set up the way I want it. And every once in a while I'll have a moment where I say to myself "Holy #$%& this thing is fast!"

Nevermind, this question is now moot, as I was just emailed by my delivery specialist with my VIN and MVPA. Very pleased with the speed and organization I've seen so far.
