I’m picking up in Carlsbad too! Yours should come any day! I was checking source code this morning and no vin, nothing at all then I got the random text!! Hope you get the text soon!
ordered on 10/22 from La Jolla as well. Hopefully I will get the text soon!!!!!
Received an email this morning from a delivery support specialist in Las Vegas, conforming my VIN that was found in source code last night. She was also explaining the things needed to be done to allow for shipment / delivery in Texas.
That was followed not long with a text message from Tesla to schedule my delivery in the North Houston delivery center. Soonest I could schedule was Dec 26th. I still don’t have a VIN or MVPA on my account page in order to obtain Insurance and fund Tesla via my Credit Union.

It finally happened! a Xmas miracle.
Ordered 11/10, White ext/black int, 18" aero, FSD

Got a text from tesla today to schedule delivery and the earliest was 12/17 Tuesday.
Checked in account and found VIN number and delivery appointment time 12/17.
Page is weird that it shows page as if I'm at the first step of placing an order.
The next step page where upload insurance is not there and only a page for Financing option.
Anybody ran into that when they have a VIN on page but page show:

So annoying! I posted this in another thread but I'm leaving the state for a week for the holidays over the holidays, as I'm sure a ton of others are. Tesla's policy of, "If you don't pick it up in 3 days, its gone," is insane! I can go sign the paperwork today, before I leave, as long as they just hold it at the service center until I get back!

I had a great delivery experience at Van Ness earlier this month. Good luck. They probably won't be too busy on Monday.
Yes, Bay Area seems to finally be happening with more than just a few cars. I think you beat the rush too!
Ordered a SR+ in early November. Was tired of waiting and had been thinking about the multiple benefits of ordering the LR AWD. Called Costa Mesa delivery center and they offered me the showroom model with 14 miles at ~$2k off. I picked it up this afternoon! If you are okay with getting a 2019 car vs 2020 and are okay with getting a car that a bunch of people sat in for a couple of months, you can check with your delivery center to see if they have showroom models available.

- Pickup was less than ideal. I still don’t have a charger from them and had to remind them to give me a frunk mat. I wonder what else I am supposed to get that they may have forgotten to give me. Does someone have a list of all the things we are supposed to receive with the car?
