LR with Staggered 20’s - Range Impact?

Im looking at going with a set of staggered 20” Vossen VSF6 wheels (20x9 & 20x10.5) with 245/35/20s in the front and 275 or 285/30/20 out back.

I’ve seen mixed responses on range impact, from some people noticing no difference and some reporting a 10-20% drop.

Anyone know what i should really expect?

I went from 20” Performance wheels with Michelin PS4S to 18” wheels with Michelin PS4 and noticed a consistent 30-40 wh/mile improvement. Tire widths are identical.

Weight, width, and tire compound will all affect range. Wide 20” wheels with similar tires should reduce range by about 10% compared to 18” Aeros.

I have a similar staggered setup on 20” wheels. I see about a 12-15% decrease. Not a big issue for me, since I don’t take very long road trips in my 3.

What tires brand and model are you putting on?
I would be very interested to know about the fitting and to see the look?

I plan to upgrade to 255 all the way around on 19", mostly to avoid getting curb rash on the wheel rim.
