Matte Black License Plate frame suggestions.

I was trying to install a black license plate frame from a recommendation from someone on the forum.
However I found the back of the frame has an edge with nothing to soften it. Directions suggest using weatherstripping to prevent marring the paint, but the model 3 is curved so this proves a challenge.

This is the one I was trying to install:

I'm looking for other options: So far all I have found is this one:

I have tried this one Custom License Plate Frames with Logo Massive experience. Good for auto dealers

All the black frame on amazons are either plastic or very ugly. So I spray painted the stock frame to semi-gloss black. Turned out pretty good!

You can do this for free if you have some sand paper and paint, since all Model 3's come with a metal license plate bracket.

I sanded down the frame evenly (started with 400 grit and ended at 1000 grit), and then sprayed a few light coats of satin black paint. Don't mind the high-temp engine enamel paint that I used, as it was what I had in my garage and didn't feel like driving down to Home Depot to get some rustoleum black paint. Afterwards, sprayed a couple of light coats of automotive clear coat paint over it to protect the black paint, and to give it a slight luster look that matched the rest of my satin black parts on the car.

The frame has survived the hot summer days, the cold winter nights, and lots of car washes in between. No chipping, fading, or anything.
