I have same issue with my wall connector. Previous wall connector showed a wand fault so replaced gen 3 charger. Still have door opening issue. Opens with app, or when pressing door, or from touch screen. Just not from charger wand button. Charger wand will release from port OK just not open. Temps were in the 30's to 40's F. Today, pre-conditioned car for a bit then the wand WOULD open the charge port. Put in service mode and could see the UHF flash green when want button pressed. Can you lubricate the charger door shaft with something like silicone or WD-40?
