I drive Tesla Model 3(2022 model) since April 2022 in Sydney and wanted to know this only for infornation purpose.

How much does it cost to replace Tesla Model 3 battery in Australia?

You can only buy the battery from Tesla so you are not shopping around for it. It costs around 12-15k for a model 3 battery, US.

Using an online currency calculator, 12k US today is approximately 17.9k Australian. So, roughly 18k australian to 22.5k Australian (12-15k US).

Yikes! I thought those prices had come down recently. Certainly less than the $22k US I heard back when my car was new, but still pretty stiff considering what these (2018s) are worth now.

You'd probably be better have been placing this in the Australian forum.
Think last quote I'd seen posted on one of the local FB forums for a RWD was about A$18k, but don't think I've seen any reports of replacements out of warranty (and even that is a very small number of early failures).

There's a 2021 3 (so LFP made in China) in Brisbane that's mostly used for Uber that is already over 290,000km travelled. Still on original brakes and battery.

Most regularly driven 3s are still well within battery warranty, and only a small percentage of Australian 3s are outside the 4yr main warranty.

For clarity, this discussion is about the main battery pack correct? Not the small low voltage (LV) battery.
