Model 3 Configuration open for Japan

On May 31th, Tesla opened Model 3 configurator of for Japan for all users. Only SR+ and Performance are available, and white interior is not available either, even with Performance. Ordered Performance, black interior, performance wheels and metallic blue paint, and oh, FSD.

Congrats. Any word on the CHAdeMO adapter situation visible on the Japanese Tesla web site? I assume the Japan spec Model 3 has the North American vehicle inlet like the S & X does in Japan.

The inlet has not been announced but we already have 20 supercharger and I don't think they will change the port. So M3 also has north American port in Japan. Re CHAdeMO adapter Tesla said it will be available with M3 but M3 order screen said nothing. Also Tesla didn't mention how much power rating the adapter has. 50kW worst case, might be higher than that. We have 90kW CHAdeMOs popping up bit by bit.

Elon tweeted that white interior will be available in high volume markets only. So Japan will not have one for a while.
