Model 3 departure time not working correctly with update 2021.24.4

Hello,

I’m running into some problems with the set departure. I set the depart time to be at 5:30am with 90% and the charging is only at 85% by 6. Has anyone else experienced this? This never happened in the previous updates.

I did notice this the other day. If I remember correctly it was 3% off the set point. But it hasn’t happened again that I’ve noticed.

Do you know if the charging was finished earlier than your 5:30 target before? Maybe the newer software tries to finish closer to the set time. It's difficult to plan charging time accurately because the voltage can drop for various reasons. At home, I have seen everything from 228V to 240V while pulling the full 48A. A 12V drop represents 5% and since power in kW is volts * amps, that means it charges ~5% slower at 228V than at 240V. I've seen the most voltage drops in periods where there's more activity in houses, like mornings, dinner time etc, and that was not necessarily from activity in my house.

Anyway, I'm not sure of this, but I believe some people have complained that scheduled departure was finishing too early. Maybe they've made it tighter but now it has trouble finishing in time ...

Mine seems to be working as normal with 2021.24.4, the last two charges I've done (67-75%, and 30-90%) both finished about 35 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time
