Multicoat red ... wut?

I recently ordered a model 3 and despite not being able to see a car with multicoat red (none at all at the dealership) I was assured it was a fairly bright red... so I ordered it.

However, I've seen multiple cars now on the road in what I assume to be the only red offered on the model 3.... but it looks almost .... burgundy?

Let me post up a few pics from across the Internet.... all multicoat red, but everyone looks different....

So what is the actual colour? I'm almost thinking of cancelling and going for white, since I don't want the disappointment of turning up to collect my car and its a dull, reddy-brown colour (like the 2nd pic)

It’s highly dependent on lighting. Cloudy/overcast it will look more dark red. Direct bright sunlight will make the metallic really pop and looks more bright red.

Also if the car is dirty it will be more dull of course.

Living in Northern Ireland, we don't get masses of clear, sunny days....maybe this is giving rise to much of what I'm seeing....
