NEMA 14-60 Adapter come with a Model 3 Performance edition?

I'd like the benefits of 48A charge rates, but don't know if I will need an adapter for my M3.

Does anyone know if the 14-60A plug comes with the factory adapters?

If you want a 48A charge rate you will need to use a HPWC. When plugging into an outlet with a UMC the most you can get is 32A, with the 14-50 adapter.

Hmm, thanks for that link. Looking deeper into this it looks like the mobile charger is limited to 32A regardless of the supply.

Wasn't immediately obvious to me, so thanks for the education. If I want 48A rates looks like the HPWC is my only option.

The 32A charger that comes with the car will add about 29 miles per hour, which means you can easily top off the battery overnight, even from empty. Therefore, unless you're trying to charge 2 cars overnight from the same circuit or drive a lot with very little rest time in-between, the included mobile charger should be sufficient.
