This whole project took longer than I expected. I couldn’t find any clean looking front lips and the closest one from ikon didn’t look right from the side (it curved up a lot), so I bought this eBay front lip and got to work. All the vertical parts had to go.
The dremeling and plastic solder was the easiest part but because I used a flexible “bondo”, sanding (and reapplying and resanding again and again) took over a week to get right. I ended up using a textured flat black paint to match the plastic trim.
