Does anyone know why they eliminated the air suspension on the 75's.
Production line simplification informed by the choices customers were making.
Not enough people were buying the air suspension with smaller battery packs, so in the interests of streamlining the assembly line Tesla restricted the option to 100kWh cars.
There are still a few Model S 75 inventory cars available with air suspension if you are shopping for one.
Some 75D models were built with both the new drive unit and air suspension on July 15th. That would be an interesting find.
And of course, right now, they all are... Hate to be the guy who wants to keep track of all the combinations available ever for these cars!
