After I had a chrome delete done, I didn't like the original silver metallic on the 20" wheels. For some reason I had the bright idea of going with white wheels so I had them powder coated the same white as the car. From the get go I didn't like it. Looked like a retro wheel out of the 80s. I just mention this in case anyone else ever considers using white. So from there I wanted to go dark but not black. I see the chrome delete with black wheels all the time and I just didn't care for the look. I met with a guy who had rings of many colors and ironically decided to go with the Tesla color used for wheels on the Model S. I absolutely love how they turned out. I had the guy remove the white sticker that comes on the center inserts and he hand painted them the same red as the calipers. I really like the combination. So here is a few pics:
