Yes precisely my point, supercharging is more expensive and is dearer than some other brands but not usually your standard method of charge.

If you've paid $$$s for a home charger you need to be adding say a 5-10yr amortisation of that cost to calculate the real cost of home charging.

That's very true. Say you pay 24c/kWh at home and Tesla charges 51c/kWh for supercharging. Difference is 27c. Factor in the $850 before electricians for the wall connector and you're looking at just over 3148kWh of charging before you've paid off the cost of the wall connector compared to if you exclusively used a supercharger.

For a 60kWh M3 with 1 full charge cycle a week, that's just over a year of charging.
