PA Has Been Cleared for Deliveries

Got a text on 4/29 and asked if I wanted to take delivery of my MY on 4/30. Of course I said yes and picked it up (touchless) yesterday at the Devon location. Back in March I had been scheduled for delivery and missed it by 1 day after the shelter in place order was mandated. Tesla told me they gave my car to someone else and they would build me another when the factory opened back up. I relegated to the fact I'd get the car in June or July so it was a surprise and it was the same VIN as I had before so I guess no one wanted it ...

Yes, build quality is very good. I did a thorough inspection inside and out. Paint and panel gaps all looks good and everything seems to work well. Its only 1 day old so we'll see!

Same thing happened to me, delivery was canceled back in March. I'm waiting for the new delivery date, my vin is #22xx. What is your vin #?

Yep, the performance upgrade package does not include the spoiler. It comes standard with every performance model.

Did you get the tow hitch option? Curious if it’s similar to the Model X package.

I got the performance model but without the upgrade to bigger wheels, brakes and pedals. I had 22” wheel on my last car and they are too expensive and I live in PA so weather is an issue. No tow hitch, I ordered before it was available. I didn’t time 0-60 but holy $hit is it fast!

I ordered the PUP, so I plan to switch out to winter tires.

Performance Model Y... I have lapsed in my monitoring of the Model Y options.

Interesting that the Model Y and Model 3 are different...

I picked mine up on Monday, and it did not include an inspection sticker. I’m not positive if that is just because PA DMV wasn’t reopened yet, or if they typically don’t include inspection stickers for some reason.

You have to get it inspected. D’Avico’s down the road will do it for Teslas.

Tesla’s don’t come with inspections in PA as far as I know, got mine done at Jim’s Berwyn Sunoco right down the street.
