Pepper finance rate increase

Just got notification their rate increases from 2.99% to 3.99% if the car isn't delivered by 1st May. Equates to ~$5,000 extra on interest over the course of the loan.

Ordered 31/12/21, really hoping Tesla can deliver before then.....

Oh that's not a good news. Have you already received a VIN and delivery date time frame. If not I doubt the car will be delivered before that time.

I recently have been approved via Macquarie bank and hope they don't follow suit.

Unfortunate.
If you're a Q2 delivery I'd say very unlikely to get a car in April..

Most quarters deliveries only commence about the middle of the second month.

Email was from [email protected], but the email to respond to at the bottom of the email was [email protected]

It is a strange e-mail address and doesn't line up with any of peppers other e-mail addresses.
I'm not 100% sure this one legit yet. You are the second one I have seen though.
There are alot of others though that have not received this e-mail.

Thanks for posting this. Ah well looks like that will take out one of the lenders for a lot of people.
Plenti I’m sure will take them on if they keep the rate at 2.99

Thanks for letting me know about this mate - if my delivery misses the window, I'll get in touch with Plenti.

Approval process through Pepper was super simple and easy, hopefully the same with Plenti.
