Plaid 1/4 Mile tires

What are the best tire to run the 1/4 mile with? I tried the track tires that came with my brake kit and the best I could do was 9.86. Is there a true slick option for the 20”?

That seems awfully slow. Did you heat the tires up to make sure they were up to temp? They may work better if adequately warmed up.

You might be better off with a PS4s for what you are doing. It might help to post other parameters from your run such as the time slip so we can see the 60' times to see how it is launching. Did you use drag strip mode? What stance? Etc.

I was in drag strip mode going to try the PS4’s today on the 20”. When I get to the track I’ll post the slips. Tires should have been warm after the first pull. I was between 100% and 96. Charged at the track.
