Possible to change the steering wheel thumb wheels from plastic to the new metal versions?

Does the metal version "feel" better? The reports I read made it sound like you can't tell the difference.

We have two M3s, one with plastic one with metal. I MUCH prefer the plastic in our 2020. Easier to move.

My 2018 M3P came with rubber thumb wheels, I swapped them out years ago for the metal ones. I prefer the metal ones over the rubber. It really comes down to personal preference.

There were no plastic scroll wheels, I think you meant rubber.
