Can anyone with a European pre-facelift Model S please share a photo of their front number place mount? I've tried Googling, but can't find any clear shots.
My car has a cracked number plate and mount so I wanted to replace them, but I'm not clear on what the OEM setup is - it looks like mine isn't original.
Mine has a (cracked) mount with clips on top of another mount without clips. Looking at the parts finder, it only shows the bottom mount, so I just wanted to confirm if that is the case and if so, how the numberplate is attached to the original mount? Is it stick on, or does it screw on, or should there be clips to hold it in place…?
Haven't taken it apart to find out as mine is held together with sealant so I want to ensure I have the right fixings first!
