Pros and cons between the two mobile chargers

I am curious as the the pros and cons between the two mobile chargers on Tesla’s store and what would be the use cases for one over the other aside for the difference amp/charging speed. Thoughts.

Corded Mobile Connector is faster at 40 amps, but a one trick pony (must have a 14-50 outlet to plug into)

Universal Mobile connector is slower at 32 amps, but can plug into almost anything with an adapter.

That’s it.

So if my use case is to have available for road trips and charging away from home the UMC is the better option. Thanks.

Yes. The UMC has adapters that can plug into everything from a normal household outlet to a dryer receptacle and everything in between. If flexibility away from home is what you want, you want the UMC. The difference between 32 and 40 amp charging is negligible in most cases.
