Purchasing 1st Tesla

My advice :
Best choice is a 2016 to 2018 used Model S *that is still under the full car warranty* and has air suspension. 75 or 75D or 100D. Buy from tesla.com and all cars have 1-year warranty plus remainder of powertrain warranty. Budget $1500 for the upgrade to the newer faster MCU2 computer at Tesla service center. You DEFINITELY need autopilot (all cars sold at tesla.com have that) and you don't need the FSD feature but it's nice.
Second choice is a new Model Y (car is better) or new Model 3 (looks are better) brand new. Might get a $7000 federal tax credit if it passes and is made retroactive to Jan 1st.
Third choice is a used Model 3 from tesla.com including FSD for $37K. Again, it will have full car warranty for at least a year.
