Put a Deposit on P100D

This is an awesome machine! Will take me a bit to figure out the technology, but I love it already! Actually, I was told that Ludicrous and Ludicrous+ will stay in the car- I paid for them.

Congrats! I thought they deducted $20k for removing Ludicrous (so in turn you got what is now known as a "Performance" model)? Or did you end up paying an extra $20k for it?

I didn't pay anything extra. Frankly, even though I was assured that LM and LM+ will stay in the car, I wouldn't be surprised if it's removed, Seems to good to be true...

Did you ask them for a spoiler?
Performance models come with that even if you don’t install it.

No, I didn't know about it. I am driving there on Monday for a faulty windshield wiper, so I ask about the spoiler. Actually the deliver desires to be better. Car wasn't cleaned/washed/vacuumed thoroughly, the iron hook was loose in the frunk. Isn't there some bag to hold books, hook, etc?

When I picked up mine, the “delivery specialist” seemed put off by the fact that I had the audacity to spend 5 minutes looking over the car I bought sight unseen. They really need to work on customer service. The cost to customer service ratio is way out of wack.
 
I picked up my 4th Tesla earlier this week.
It was by far the worst delivery experience of them all (wrong wheels, no spoiler, missing a key fob, fob that was there was covered with velcro, odd smells, delivery person had worked for Tesla for 10 days, took over 6 hours to do paperwork that should have taken 6 minutes).
After reading Vexige and Bweiss, I may have been lucky.
The car is fabulous as usual. The P100D has been subtly but noticeably improved in the past 30 months.
 
i put deposit down on 3/16/19 on 2018 MX100DL with 2200 miles and I set date to pick up on 4/6/2019. I got all possible option including Full Self-Driving Capability and 72 amp Charger Upgrade on board (45 miles/hr using HPWC). After 2019 no more this option. I already put deposit on custom car but cancel after this inventory car drop additional $10,000 bring in total of $42,400 discount. But the custom car does not have 72 amp charger on board only 48 amp charger. I have them sent me some photos and I saw some misalignment on the falcon door and quarter panel window. So they fixed them yesterday and sent me new photos. After that they want me to pickup this weekend but I said no and I have plan. They also offer me a rental car to drive down to pick up the car on delivery day about 80 miles away next week. I will definitely look thru the car for any uneven gaps and paint chipping before pay for the car. This forum has a check list to go thru before sign any papers.
 
I just realized that I got no paperwork from delivery. None! No copy of the loan agreement, mileage statement, from my trade in, or new car... Nothing... Only my old plates, which I'm going to transfer and temp plates. Is this normal for Tesla? Will they email me all that?

They asked me if we wanted a printed copy, which we got. They said the default was that they email the docs to your email on file. They said even if they print they still email plus they are in your My Tesla account under that car.

They installed a spoiler on the spot during delivery for me after requesting it, they had a few of them in stock at our service center to my surprise. From what I was told they ran out of them during production and were shipping cars without them for a while. It’s a good thing they didn’t run out of brake pads.
