When I picked up mine, the “delivery specialist” seemed put off by the fact that I had the audacity to spend 5 minutes looking over the car I bought sight unseen. They really need to work on customer service. The cost to customer service ratio is way out of wack.

This is their achilles heel. If they don't up their game for ~$100K cars, their lunch will be eaten by the Taycan and other entries in the market coming soon.
 
They installed a spoiler on the spot during delivery for me after requesting it, they had a few of them in stock at our service center to my surprise. From what I was told they ran out of them during production and were shipping cars without them for a while. It’s a good thing they didn’t run out of brake pads.
They won’t, I’ll make sure they won’t ;)

No, I didn't know about it. I am driving there on Monday for a faulty windshield wiper, so I ask about the spoiler. Actually the deliver desires to be better. Car wasn't cleaned/washed/vacuumed thoroughly, the iron hook was loose in the frunk. Isn't there some bag to hold books, hook, etc?

My delivery experience was very similar to yours and my car had only 14 Miles !. This is only one pic of many. I don't have a SC, so the mobile service is going to take care of all the issues. I'm not even using the car.

BTW. Did you you get the 3yrs free supercharger ?

The 3 year free supercharging offer was if you currently had a Tesla with unlimited free Supercharging and then ordered a new S or X with your referral code after the 24th (not sure exact date) and took delivery by the end of month.

I traded a P85D with unlimited supercharging. I was not able to use my referral code because some issues processing the order online. I called Tesla to ask some question and just completed the purchase via the phone.

A few days later i called back and asked them to add my car as a referral. The rep told me that was not possible because the purchase needed to be online using my referral link.. I told them about the website issues. .... At the end Nothing.

I did receive my car last week.. End of the month. But not free SC. The rep is trying to work it out. But it seems that after delivery the delivery support team just vanished.

Kudos to my area Tesla Ranger. The support is great.

Completely different experience for me. Took my delivery Wednesday in San Diego. Encouraged me to take my time and inspect everything. Colton answered all my questions and even has answered emails after we left.

I think our experience could be partially explained (but not justified) by the fact that it was the end of the quarter and they were under a lot of pressure to sell more. Although, they still missed it. In addition, I noticed something interesting, when I requested to talk to someone in management, they don't show their faces. Instead they use the sales associate as a messenger, who disappear behind the closed door and reappear with an answer and then go back again. Pretty annoying I'd say...

On a side note, got another update yesterday and after downloading it L and L+ are still in the car.
