question about financing trough Tesla

I know how complicated process is with ordering CPO .
But I have question about financing part.
We didn't order CPO yet, but submitted credit application last week using their Tesla website.
No point of placing order if we don't get answer about our credit/financing. Right?
No word from they yet.
Called their financing department and left message.
Still nothing...
But after 3 hours of submitting credit application we got call from local Tesla Show Room telling us they are ready to schedule appointment to try new Model S.
We never asked them for it, never interested in NEW Tesla or something like that.
Lady on the phone sounded confused and said sorry - ,it was an error!
Strange..
So how long it takes to hear from them about credit application?
And do they send an email or call you?

When I placed my deposit and get contacted by the SA, she put me in touch with someone from financing to do the loan app. I got approved by another lender before hand, but the bank Tesla went through had a slightly better rate if I put down a larger down payment.
