Question on wire for Nema 14-50 install

Hi all,
I’m ordering some 6-3 wire and a 14-50 outlet. I’ve got PCV conduit and I’m going to run everything myself from my basement panel closet through my garage -
then have an electrician actually wire the breaker and the outlet. My question is about the wire itself. I’ve seen lots of variations and I don’t really understand the difference. This is what I found online at a decent price for 80’ (below) is NM-B wire ok? TIA

6/3 NM-B (Non-Metallic) ROMEX Simpull

Yes, that is fine. 6 gauge Romex is correctly rated for a 50A circuit.
The main difference in wire choice is that if you are going to do the whole run in conduit, you wouldn't usually use Romex. You would use individual wires in conduit, which are called THWN. That would have a different current rating, but 6 gauge would still be good. But if you are needing to run part of it inside insulated walls, then that's what the Romex is required for.
