Range went up 30 miles on RWD 75?

So I had something interesting happen to me today.
From what I remember and googled, my 2017 model s 60 (software upgraded to 75) is capable of around 250 miles at optimal driving.

I happen to look at my DASHBOARD FOR TESLA app and it says rated range is 288.
I thought to myself that this must be a bug in the app.

Went into the car and flipped the toggle over to rated range and it was indeed that high! I drove home and the range stayed at 276 miles.
How is this possible? Is there something I completely missed? I attached a photo

Ideal range was 226.

Ideal range is a lot more than rated range.

Ok, that's weird. Today, when I went to work it said i had a higher percentage than normal when I got there. I normally charge to 90% every night. Then when I leave and get to work, I have 80%. Then I leave work and I have 70% when I get home. It's been that way since I bought my 2016 S90D refreshed new. Now I have 50k miles. Every once in a while I'll leave with 90% and get to work with 82% with out doing anything different. But when I get home, I'll still drop the 10% and get there with 72 or 71%.
Well today, I got to work with 83% and I figured it was the not often, but the once in a great while glitch and that I would get home with the 73 or 72% that usually happened after this "glitch". But when I got home it was at 75%. It only used 7% to get there and 8% to get back. A 2 to 3% increase. I'll see what it does tomorrow, but weird that you had the same thing kinda.

Well crap. So normally when I charge to 90%, my dashboard for tesla app shows 240 miles. It used to show 270 miles, but I digress. Today, just now at 90% it shows 235 miles. Ugh..
