I have a 2017 S 90D. Just recently, A warning indicator came on the screen as well as visuals showing my rear lift gate opened. I opened my rear liftgate and closed and locked it but this is not cleared the issue. I have reset the scroll wheels a few times on the steering wheel and even powered off the vehicle through the safety screen. I’ve also signed out of my iPhone app a few times and still, I’m getting this error message and visual on my screens and app. I’ve confirmed there is nothing blocking the sensor pads in the frame of the liftgate, everything is clean.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, is there a way for me to correct us without a service call with Tesla?
