Regular Cruise Control?

I currently have a vehicle with the level 2 ADAS (lane keeping, adaptive cruise, etc). But I find in many instances, that I like to use regular cruise control.

I ordered my Tesla with EAP and know it will be better than my current car. However, will I still have the option to use regular cruise control when I want to?

You can use TACC as a regular cruise control, just don't drive on the tail of the car on front of you. Which you wouldn't be using cruise control anyway.

Just think of it as a regular cruise control that keeps you from running into the car in front. It can operate without lane guidance.
