Hello I purchased this appliqué for my tailgate and need to replace but it is not coming off with my bare hands I don’t want to pull too hard and damage the paint. Is there a special way to take these off?
I debadged before with a good dental floss. Then soaked a soft cloth in WD40 and gently rubbed the residue off, and then cleaned it up with a alcohol followed by a good wax.
its easier if you warm it up with a hair drier or heat gun (warm, not HOT) before the Waxed Dental Floss and use a sawing motion. goo gone for the remaining sticky then a good wash and wax.
