So I scraped my rim 3 days after professionally getting it fixed for 130 dollars. I can't be getting this fixed every time like this so I decided to do some research and repaired it myself. Not perfect..but I think I'll do a better job next time around.
Tools used
1. Air Spray kit (I paint game miniatures so I had this 79 dollar kit laying around).

2. 3M 80 grit and 320 grit sand paper
3. Bondo

4. Paint Lacquer I bought from Lowes.
5. Dropper for lacquer
6. Dupli Dark Shadow Grey
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HE66OK8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Instructions:
1. Wash the area with soap and water.
2. Sand down area with 80 grit sand paper to metal. Be careful since any slip up will result scratches.
3. Blow away dust and clean with some soap and water
4. Apply Bondo, don't need to be perfect
5. Sand down Bondo after it's dried with 80 grit paper until it's more flat against the surface of the sides, then use 320 grit and sand until very smooth against the rest of the rim.
6. Put some of the Dupli paint into the airbrush and dilute with paint lacquer
7. Airbrush paint slowly and cover the entire area that was sanded
8. Apply clear coat after the paint dries (I would probably use a painters brush vs using the brush they give in with the Pen kit.
Not very hard, took about a hour and I have enough material to do this 10 more times if needed.
