My girlfriend really does not like the fixed headrest in my Model Y, nor the way that it forces your head forward and "down" (she likes to sit very upright.). Are there any comfort-based replacement front seat options for the Model Y? (I see the sport / track mode seats, but I'm looking for comfort, not performance.)

You can fairly easily make changes to the head rest.
The head rest is "easily" removed by using a flat head screw driver and pulling a tab while lifting the head rest.
A simple fix is reinsert the head rest backwards. I bent mine back instead.

I find the seats comfortable enough but I mess the thigh extender from
the BMW sport seats. Not used to riding high but the seats are better
than I thought they would be.

This thread shows how to bend or reverse the headrest. Was even thinking about selling the car or making permanent changes to the seats, but just reversing them really fixed that issue for me. I also like to seat very upright, st that was really annoying. Hope that helps.
