Require Cabin Overheat Protection in ALL Electric Vehicles

Federal legislation already requires that all new cars made in 2025 or after have back passenger alert systems. (And by the way, for context, around 30-40 children die every year in the US because of being left in the back seat unattended.) I just don't think cabin overheat protection is enough and frankly is a large waste for those of us smart enough to not leave our kids in the car. Just imagine going back in time and telling people from the 1800s that the government will one day require a safety system to remind parents their kids are in the "wagon". Their response :" Good God, what went wrong".
