When I spoke with an SA in December, I am pretty sure they said they were not going to build white (and possibly black) for a while, they were catching up with the other colors.

So I'm thrilled to report I'm no longer waiting! I posted on the main thread (and front page) - got my baby yesterday, basically flawless, great quality, etc.

Try not to get emotional about this stuff. There's nothing against "you" and no great "highest price car first" conspiracy (that I could determine).
Yes, there are dashed hopes - pulled VINs (been there, done that) and BS EDDS that are not accurate unless you look at geological time frames.
Instead, enjoy knowing the longer it takes you to get, hopefully the more improvements they make to the car, software, etc.
I'm happy to answer any questions I can, here or privately.

RN1143.. here Red/White, Seattle. My EDD has moved about 10 times. No changes in configuration since order.
I’m guessing it’s due to the fact that my trade in is valued more than the price of the S, so essentially they owe me money after the sale.

I'm also RN1143 from Seattle - white/black interior/19"/No FSD - with an update. Never a configuration change (TM).
I was encouraged by a few people on here (thanks everyone!) to contact Tesla and find out why my early order still has no car. The local team checked with the factory team and while I don't know why it was ignored they have communicated to me that I should get it towards the end of January!
So that's the good news!
The bad news is my EDD remains March 18 - April 15.
I'm hopeful - it would be nice if it came through!

Well that gives me a glimmer of hope. I have the same configuration with a Portland delivery and very similar EDD. RN1149.

My EDD recently entered a 2 week window for the first time. I am hoping this is a good sign. So tired of waiting!
My window was opening Jan 21, today on Jan 22 it pushed out to March 18-31, 14 months after my order. I remain convinced they are pushing early holders out in an effort to get us to cancel. There is nothing “priority” about this delivery. Order is 11439…
RN 0894 made 6/21. Yesterday, EDD changed yet again from 3/18-3/31 to 1/22-2/4. LR/silver/white interior/19s Have a DCU loan approval and a strong estimate from SHIFT for our 2017 S. Even the Tesla insurance price matches our USAA rate, so going to change with the new car. Now, enough f__kery, where is our new car....? Ahhhh, Tesla....
