Thought I would make a thread where we could keep a live status of the many Roadsters in Florida and if they're surviving this hurricane as it makes landfall.

It can't just be me - I am sitting here with numerous amounts of anxiety thinking of these already rare vehicles. (Obviously, first and foremost I hope all humans & their families will be safe)

If you own a Roadster in Florida, or know someone who does, can we keep a running tally of the cars and their status?

As of right now, I know VIN 678, 758, and 778 are in the areas...but apart from that, I am unaware of any others in danger.

It's not just you... But I'm worried for the people right now. It's too early to worry about the Florida Roadsters, and entirely appropriate to worry about our Florida brethren.

We can address the Roadsters later... (Perhaps we can check on the status of those in the Houston/Texas areas instead since they've now passed the immediate danger and we can see where the cars are THERE.)

Absolutely. I probably made this one way too early...though it was on my mind after talking to an owner who had safely evacuated. There's some positive news!

Good idea on the Houston Roadsters idea. I already read that @Tex EV's VIN 113 is safe, so there's a start.

Next to California, Florida could be the next most popular area for Roadsters. I had noted a lot of them there.
At some point, I think all of these were there:

We're here and fine. Fully charged (standard) the Roadster Saturday then unplugged for the duration. We went without mains power for 3 days but I was ready to slow charge off the PV system if needed - Sunny Boy inverters have a 'Secure Power Supply' switch that can be used in a complete grid failure (I've tested it on the Roadster before).

Haven't been able to drive it till today though! - Flooded roads are finally drying out, draining away.
