Running Narrower Winter Tires on stock MY 19” wheels

Considering 245/50 R19 for winter tires on 2020 MYL. Looking at current 255/45 R19’s and don’t want to expose rims to unnecessary damage. Anyone w/ experience running narrower winters on stock wheels? Would only increase diameter 2% which is reasonable. I also have the MPP lift and coil-overs which gives it an extra 1.25-1.5” of clearance.

Going from Conti Viking Contact 7’s to Hakka R5 EV’s. Live and work in CO and will spend a month this winter in the Cascades. Lots of snowy driving on steep mountain roads.
