Saving Tesla Camera History

Where are the instructions for saving camera history on a USB thumb drive? How is it titled/labeled in the Owner’s Manual?

USB drive must have 2 things to save video files from dash cam & sentry footage.

1. FAT32 formatted drive
2. Folder on the drive labeled: TeslaCam (must have caps on T & C)

Look up Dashcam in the owners manual.

Both FAT32 and EXT4 work for this. If you have the choice, EXT4 is going to be far more reliable as it is a journaling file system that will recover from unexpected removal/power off far better.

EXT4 is not working in my 2020. I get the format error message.

They're all running the same software. There's probably something else going on I would guess.
