Scheduled Delievery Date . . . Real or fake?

So I just got an email saying "TENTATIVELY scheduled for pick up is 12/4. . . " I am taking delivery in Southern California. What are the chances that date is real or will it be rescheduled?

Its like being a kid and mom & dad say Christmas will be her on the 4th. . . MAYBE. Santa and the elves may still be making the toys.

What has been peoples experiences on the original Tentative date and actually delivery and pick up date?

Being in California it's pretty much spot on. I got my car the day they promised.

At least for CA, delivery dates are pretty real.

Honestly, a lot of it depends on you. Make sure you have all your paperwork together, financing, insurance, trade-in info, all of it. You also have to stay in contact with your SA and DS. Email or call every couple of days to check in and see if they have everything they need. Remember Tesla is not like the conventional dealers we're used to. They are new to all this so they sometimes need a push.
