While it's clear that manually setting the brightness locks it to a chosen value regardless of light conditions, I don't understand the "auto" setting.
Why can I adjust the slider in "Auto" to, say, 40%, when it then drifts off that percentage to some unknown value?
Why even have that option, when it's fully automatic anyway?
I had hoped that by presetting a percentage in "Auto" it will trigger an automatic adjustment in different light environments, based on my relative (preset) preference No?
